The Inn at Pelican Bay consistently receives positive reviews, praised for its friendly staff, convenient location, and appealing amenities like a pool and complimentary breakfast. While generally well-regarded, some guests have noted concerns regarding room updates and inconsistent housekeeping services. Overall, it’s a popular choice for a relaxing getaway in Naples.
My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Inn at Pelican Bay. The hotel has a mini-resort vibe, the staff is extremely friendly, and Tonie, the concierge, booked us excellent dinner reservations each night. Enjoyed the live music during breakfast and the laid back vibe. Would highly recommend if you’re in the Naples area.
This is the best hotel in town for the price- really at any price! Wonderful experience! Their attention to detail is extraordinary!!! The full breakfast every morning and is fantastic and included in your stay. Free shuttles run during the day to the beach. A real find!!!!!! Remodeled rooms are very nicely done.
Amazing boutique hotel with great rooms. Perfect location only 1 mile to the beach with free shuttles to take you there with chairs, towels, and an umbrella! WOW! We also loved the pool, the full breakfast along with live music being played. The bar is small but ample and cozy for being with old friends or meeting new ones. Can't wait to come again!
We enjoyed our visit to the Inn at Pelican Bay. The first person you meet is Kenal, a very friendly and helpful doorman and van driver! We loved the outdoor area and large shaded porch. The room could use some updates - ours was dark and decorated in black and gold- not the ambiance I was expecting. A good mattress pad would go a long way on the bed!! The balcony was great with a lovely view of the fountain and the beach skyline!
Super convenient location; easy walking area. Beautiful hotel with a staff that shines even brighter! So kind and helpful! Lovely breakfast and pool area. Highly rec!
Ok let's start with the good before we get to the reality of the situation. Good mattress and great shower, that's it. Checkin process is terrible, nobody was there, line and a wait. Like your at an inn in vermont and everyone went skiing....The hotel is dated, one elevator means your always waiting and the place is just plain simple. For $600 a night you'd expect a bit more. The bar is really weak, I counted like 10 bottles, no excitement and no food, dingy and feels like a Hilton Garden Inn. Crazy humming noise every 30 seconds all night, enough to drive you mad. No clue where it was coming from. OFC, when we went to checkout nobody was at the desk, shocking. They are all nice and friendly when you see them, problem is just finding anyone when you need them. I would say you can do much better than this place and it's surprising considering the marketing saying that its the #1 hotel in Naples. Hahahahhaha yeah they got us on that......Bravo guys.
Our initial check-in process was lackluster. The front desk person working was not the kindest and did not greet us upon arrival. She was very cold and a bit rude. With that said, the doorman who was working at the time was absolutely phenomenal! Highly personable, cared about our luggage, asked how our trip into town had gone so far, while getting us to our room efficiently while maintaining professionalism. Throughout the week the evening staff seem to be a little disgruntled and frazzled. Overall, it was a very nice stay. The pool and fire pit were great additions. The rooms could use a little bit of updating, but their overall feel was very clean and Comfortable. Yes, I would recommend.
My stay here has been absolutely wonderful! I was truly impressed by the unique layout and charming decorations, as well as the notable improvements in industry standards. The bathroom, bedroom, and breakfast offerings were all fantastic. I definitely look forward to returning here in the future!
This has been a very relaxing stay. Everybody is just extremely nice and polite. They make you feel welcome not a fake feel but a real feel. I do believe they enjoy working here. We did have a little hiccup with a room. Things happen. They moved us to a nicer room with no questions. They even offered to move us and do whatever they can. If we do come back to Naples we will be staying here again. I'm just the type of person I like to visit more places than the same place over and over again. But trust me pick this place and you will have a good day. I don't want to go home. I don't want to go home
My husband and I stayed at the Inn at Pelican Bay last week for four nights, which was enough for us. The location is great, and the service was excellent and professional. The beds were comfortable, and the pool was clean. We had a room on the 5th floor that overlooked the water, which was nice and quiet for a holiday weekend. However, there are some improvements and suggestions for future residents. Be sure the bathroom amenities are up to par; the bathrobe was stained, and they never replaced it. We had to call housekeeping the first night as our body wash dispenser was empty. Also, there was a glass bottle of liquid under our bed, although housekeeping comes each day. Only towel replacement and bed making are done since no real cleaning was done. This sadly became the question of whether today would be the day they would find it. Lastly, breakfast is complimentary, but it lacked a good variety of healthy options. It mostly consisted of waffles, pancakes, donuts, pastries, and sugary cereal. Alternative choices were a bowl of yogurt, fruit that wasn't fresh, and packaged oatmeal with hard-boiled eggs that didn't taste fresh. We did enjoy the complimentary tea and coffee stations. Thank you for that service. I read another review that they had omelettes offered, but this was not the case last week; perhaps that is no longer an option. Although the Inn at Pelican Bay is convenient and decorated nicely, attention to cleaning detail and healthier breakfast options are needed.
