Pay too much to stay and play. You can walk to restaurants specifically in old Naples on 5th, but I can’t fathom why this place was 100x more than any hotel in Naples, including Ritz (drive/different area) or Bellasera (same area). Marco was amazing but is severely overworked and over-depended on to handle breakfast/crowded beach etc… The two front desk ladies I ran into might have been as human as the AI chat thing that you have to text to get anything you want. Pulled up, to check in (which you have to do before 10pm) told to park further away, then my wife and I dragged our luggage over cobblestone to be walked to our room with no questions answered except that their keys deactivate a lot and after 10pm it’s a 2 hour wait to get anything done lol. Once in the room, it was an outdated suite but nice but also zero privacy from the room and patio. Tables full the whole weekend around the pool surrounding you. I can look people in the eyes that are eating dinner. I wanted to cannonball in the pool when we got back from early dinner, I didn’t because of all the non-hotel guests. And hot tub would be awkward too. Literally only worth the price if you have too much money and you want to walk to 5th street restaurants. This is a 3 star hotel that charges more than a 5 star. Expected way more than I experienced here. Paid much less for way more at nice hotels here and around the world. At this price, you expect service to be 100%. Poor Marco, he should work at a better place.

This is a great place to stay. Room was perfect. The patio was private and enjoyable. It was like our own personal rain forest. The pool area great. You MUST try the calamari. Everything about the stay was wonderful

Wow! I can’t say enough good things about Hotel Escalante—this place completely exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I arrived, the service was outstanding—warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive. The food was absolutely unbelievable—easily some of the best I’ve ever had, and every meal felt like a thoughtfully curated experience. The staff is simply amazing. Kind, professional, and genuinely invested in making your stay unforgettable. Shout out to Marco! The hotel itself is beautiful, with every detail thoughtfully designed. My room was spotless, super comfortable, and felt like a peaceful retreat. The pool area was pure paradise—gorgeous, tranquil, and the perfect place to unwind. This was truly a dream stay. I felt pampered from start to finish and can’t wait to come back. If you’re looking for a perfect place to go Hotel Escalante is the place to go!!!

We have traveled all over and The Escalante is our new favorite place to stay. This hotel was absolutely amazing! The management and staff were on top of every detail. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The outdoor private terrace was spectacular! It was a nice place to sit and have coffee in the morning. The grounds and pool area were beautifully decorated and the landscaping was perfection. We mentioned we wanted to go to the beach one morning and Marco - who is super friendly and helpful - gave us a ride down the block in his golf cart. When we arrived, they had set up the chairs, umbrella, and side table for us to enjoy our time in the sun. We can’t wait to come back and stay again!! This hotel stay has been one of most favorite discoveries we’ve made in Naples. It’s located in downtown and walking distance to everything from shopping to dining with no shortage of either. Our room was wonderful with all the amenities. Marco was the most wonderful person to help you with any requests from dining to beach access with a shuttle ride.

Beautiful, quaint hotel. Lovely, secluded and romantic grounds. Service was outstanding. Staff was very attentive. Marco was a pure delight. He delivered breakfast every morning and wine and light snacks every afternoon. All delicious. Couldn’t have asked for anything more. Highly recommend!

We had the most fabulous stay the hotel Escalente. It’s a great boutique hotel with beautiful scenery and outstanding service. Marco, Anna and Holly were exceptionally wonderful. Marco took us to the beach in the golf cart and made sure we always had ice. We ordered lunch from the restaurant and Marco delivered it to the beach. He’s a gem! You don’t often find the level of service he provides. We had breakfast every morning on our patio. It was truly amazing! One of the top 3 places I’ve ever stayed. Can’t wait to go back!
