The Holiday Inn Express Naples South I-75 consistently receives positive feedback for its friendly and helpful staff, cleanliness, and convenient location. While generally well-maintained, recent reviews highlight concerns regarding occasional service issues and unsatisfactory room conditions in some instances.
What a great hotel this is . Kendall and Sam as well as all the others here made my extended stay perfect! Any negative reviews kindly ignore — they are a wonderful staff and service was excellent
Excellent experience with this location! The lobby is pristine and the rooms are updated and well maintained. The most impressive part, however, was the service. The staff was on top of everything and ready to help at a moments notice. Special shout out to Israel at the front desk!
Our stay was great. The property and room was clean. The mattress was excellent. The hotel is older but well kept. Breakfast was also really good. The front desk employee was friendly and very service oriented.
We came to this property the fourth time every last year. Service always is outstanding. Check-In was easy and efficient. We were welcomed with as membership status and upgraded. Allocation of room matched my profile (room upper floor and far from elevator). Emma really went above and beyond to accommodate our room requests and ended up assigning us a room that was perfect for us. Thank you so much for your customer acknowledgement! Room was clean and met exactly our expectation. Highlight is the pretty rare possibility to open window by guest. Carolyn of the breakfast staff and her trainee were once more than attentive. She is so friendly to her guests, prepares everything pretty well, has a good look at the buffet and refilles immediately. She also keeps busy cleaning all the tables and items at the buffet. We really appreciate that. Great Location for exploring nature outside of Naples, but otherwise only a short trip to downtown. We will return to this hotel if we will visit the area again.
The location was top tier to where we were supposed to be however the hotel itself was an experience I regret putting my child in. We checked in and it was smooth. Front desk clerk was kind of short when talking but no biggie. Got checked in went into the room thought everything was good. Door way of the bathroom was peeling. Took a shower the ceiling looked horrible and the towel holder on the back of the door looked like it was about to fall off. The table in the corner looked like it had seen better days. HOWEVER, the issue came when my so originally saw two ants. I thought maybe it came from us having to put our bags on the ground outside but nope. When my son went to eat his food it was covered in ants. Immediately contacted corporate and modified my stay. The front desk agent sounded like she was upset and had an attitude. By the next morning, all of our belongings were covered in ants. We had to shake everything we owned out because ants were in all our bags. We had to leave immediately. This experience was HORRIBLE! Then to make matters worse I still have not received the funds that were supposed to be refunded to me! Again the location is amazing but the hotel needs help!
No complaints! I saw a few negative reviews that made me apprehensive but to my pleasant surprise this HIE was great. Clean, renovated, no bad smells, bathroom was clean and stocked with essentials, comfortable bed and working A/C, safe parking, friendly front desk clerk, stocked mini mart, 24/7 fresh coffee and nice breakfast, all is well! Thank goodness ??
The Worst Experience of My Life at a Hotel We went to spend one night, and it turned out to be the biggest disappointment of my life. I have never felt so humiliated in any place. We had a reservation for the night of Saturday, October 25th to Sunday, October 26th. Knowing we wouldn’t arrive in time for check-in, we called the hotel and a lady assured us that everything was fine. We arrived at the hotel around 2:00 a.m., and by 3:00 a.m. we were already looking for another place to stay. The man who attended us was extremely rude—he either had a serious attitude problem or was under the influence of something. He waved his hands at us, threatened to call the police, and told us to our faces that since we hadn’t arrived, he had canceled our reservation during his shift change. We called Expedia, and thankfully, they refunded our money. We asked to speak with a manager or supervisor, but he refused. This was a complete lack of respect. We have never experienced anything like this in any hotel before. For all these reasons, I do not recommend any hotel from this chain. They seriously need to choose better people to work with the public.
The staff is fantastic, we were always acknowledged when we were entering or leaving. Housekeeping does a good job of cleaning the room, which was a nice size and they were super helpful with forgotten items. I like that they have liquid soap by the bathroom counter and in the shower. The breakfast was the best compared to other hotels I've stayed at with quite a few options to choose from, if you leave hungry it's your fault. The fitness room isn't big but it has everything you need to get a workout, you can get some disposable earbuds from the front desk if you want music during your workout if you didn't bring yours. The pool is nice with chairs to lounge or sit on and its somewhat private. There's ample parking.
Everything great BUT THE FRONT DESK SERVICE. I had rented 3 double rooms for my team last weekend. She took all the info everything went smoothly. Supposedly, the next day, the morning of my check out, they had an issue with the card with the last transaction, specifically, 1 of the rooms. (I’m not sure why they did not check on it when I first checked in) Anyways, the day I’m checking out, this super rude front desk lady starts calling me to the room since 7 AM. Telling me the card did not go through. I’m telling her: “ok, thats weird, try again, and if no success I have no problem- I’ll take care of it once I’m down to do the check out”. At first she said OK. She calls, again, for the fourth time, and says: “you know what?, No. You need to come down right now and pay for it” I said: “no, I’m still on bed, I’ll take care of it when leaving OR, I can just give you the card info through the phone or whatever else works” She says that I needed to give her a physical card to make sure that was me and that I need to come down to do that. AGAIN- It was 7AM and I’m still in bed… I mentioned that I have 3 other rooms on board, and that she shouldn’t worry about it, my crew and I won’t leave without paying for the room. Long story short: she called the cops on me. For no reason at all. It was 9AM and the cops were knocking at my door. Was this necessary? Did you just lost a concurrent customer that rents several rooms (due to work) several times a year because you were not able to think clearly? You could have just literally go up to the room and take the physical card and bring it back… ANY other solution could’ve been better than putting yourself on a bad position, and LOOSING a valuable customer. Anyways, cops were super nice and understood the situation and suggested me to write this review and claim the money to the bank as the ONLY REASON I NEEDED THE ROOM WAS TO REST CAMLY, TAKE A SHOWER, ETC UNTIL CHECK OUT TIME, WHICH I WASNT ABLE TO DO BECAUSE THE FRONT DESK LADY KICKED ME OUT OF THE PROPERTY AND COPS HAD NO OTHER OPTION BUT SCORT ME OUT. Whoever runs the hotel is making a big mistake with this front desk lady interacting with customers. I didn’t even care about getting her name. And by the way, the cops did mention that this is not the first time they had to do this on the same hotel with the same front desk lady. WATCH OUT.
I was expecting better from a holiday inn. Even an express. Maybe that was my problem, but I was disappointed. I was trying to ask for trash bags and the lady at the front desk had to use the google translate on her phone to talk to me. My room key kept not working. In 2.5 days I had to get 4 keys and even the replacements weren't working right after being issued. The A/C was leaking so the carpet was soaked and my room was uncomfortably humid. I had a medicine capsule on my night stand and fell asleep before I was able to take it and when I woke up the shell was soft an maluable and the powder inside had congealed together like wet sand from all the moisture in the air. People were in and out of their rooms at all hours of the night slamming the doors behind them. The TV kept shutting off in the middle of watching shows. The breakfast was less than desirable. I specifically picked a place with breakfast included so I didn't have to go out in the morning and after the first breakfast I had to go out and get breakfast the rest of the time there. I had another night that was paid for and I decided to cut my trip short and leave early instead. The only good things I can say is the bed was so comfortable I fell asleep instantly and only woke when the outside doors were slamming and I liked that they had soft and firm options for the pillows. I also loved the giant vanity light in the bathroom even though when I took a shower someone could have poured a cup of water over me and it would have been more water that what the shower head was putting out. I was disappointed with my stay here and I plan to visit this area a lot but I will not be staying here again.
