We are Holiday Inn Signature owners, and this was our first time staying at this location. What a gem this resort is when it comes to being near the water. Just keep in mind: the beach is not directly in front of the resort. Behind the property there is a pier, but that area is more like a lagoon, not a swimmable beach. The actual beach is a few miles away, and the resort provides a shuttle, which is much easier than driving and paying for parking each time. Now, I’ll be honest the resort itself needs better upkeep in some areas. The game room looked abandoned. Kids tried to play pool, but there was nothing available to play with. The vending machines also looked neglected, like no one has refilled them in a long time. I’m not sure why those amenities feel so forgotten. We also noticed people without wristbands entering through the back gate by the pier and using the pool. There’s no harm in people enjoying themselves, but it doesn’t feel right that the resort doesn’t have better security at that access point. The walkway at the end makes it easy for anyone to slip in, and that really needs to be addressed. Another concern: other resorts require wristbands to access the elevators this one does not. So just like people can walk into the pool area, they can walk up to the floors too. As a guest, that doesn’t feel secure, and I think the resort should improve this for everyone’s peace of mind. Now for the good part the room and the view were absolutely stunning. The apartment was beautiful. The bathroom, the kitchen, everything was fully equipped with what you need. It truly gives you a beach?vibe apartment feel. I fell in love with it. The resort’s proximity to the beach shuttle is a plus. We didn’t use the shuttle; we drove in and out to the beach instead. Keep in mind that beach access requires paid parking, so the shuttle is probably the better option. The resort also offers beach chairs if you didn’t bring any. We ended up buying chairs in town. And by the way, there’s a supermarket right next to the resort, which makes it super convenient to restock anything you need. Overall, the location and rooms are amazing, but the resort would benefit from better amenity upkeep and stronger security. With a few improvements, this place could be truly perfect.

We all loved staying at Sunset Cove. Our three bedroom condo was very nice, clean, and spacious with great views of the canal. The pool area was clean and relaxing. I think they're going to do some upgrades at the pool area soon. Pool water was definitely warm. The bus shuttle to the 3 beach stops were so convenient and great. They supply your beach chairs. Susan and Kenny were both super nice drivers. Susan has so much info, just ask and she will give her advice or help. Manny at the front desk was very friendly and welcoming. This was one of those home away from home atmospheres and a great place to stay. It's not on the beach but, they will have you there in about 5 minutes. I really hope to go back again.

I had such a wonderful experience staying here, and a huge part of that was because of the incredible staff. Brooke was amazing! She is the absolute sweetest!!!! Everyone was friendly, welcoming, professional, and genuinely helpful from the moment we arrived until we checked out. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of. It’s rare to find a team that is both efficient and so kind. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable — we will definitely be back! Also, I came back so burnt from the beach and she came to me with aloe and literally sprayed me down! I was soooo thankful for her! My kids instantly fell in love with her and requested a pic with her before we left

They have a shuttle that will take you to the beaches. Chairs, umbrellas, and boogie boards. Just call and they will pick you up quickly. The rooms are amazing, super comfy beds and pillows. Everything you could need. There are grills outside you can use and plates, silverware, cups and kitchen utensils. We will be coming back every year.

Had a wonderful stay here for a week in April. Rooms were clean and updated, pool was very nice, gym and view from the room were decent, and hotel staff were incredible. Shout out to Susan, Dudley, and Brooke in particular although there were others that I didn't get their name and were also very friendly and helpful and helped make a wonderful trip. Thank you!

I had the pleasure of interacting with Brooke Daniels at the Holiday Inn Club, and she was absolutely wonderful. You can immediately tell she genuinely cares about both the resort and the guests. Her customer service is truly exceptional. I was on-site as a mobile notary assisting with a signing appointment for a couple vacationing at the resort, and Brooke went above and beyond to make the entire process smooth and stress-free for the guests and for me as well. She made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived and was incredibly helpful throughout my time there. Brooke is a true asset to the resort—professional, kind, attentive, and dedicated. Experiences like this are what set a property apart. She deserves to be recognized for her outstanding service.

Very first time on Marco Island. The drive was easy and the property was very well kept. The staff were friendly and helpful. The newly renovated looked modern and everything was in working order. It was a quick trip. Only stayed two nights. We were comfortable and felt very safe.

The staff was so very nice and helpful. They provide beach towels and chairs and free shuttle service to all the beach locations. Grocery store right next door. Easy walking to coffee shops and other restaurants. We would stay again!

I can't say enough great things about this place. Let's start with the location. It was perfect for us. Walking distance to all the spots for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The staff was fantastic. First we met Linda, at the front desk who was sooooo nice. She knew so much about the island and gave us all the local information and was so pleasant to speak with. Then Kerry, the shuttle driver, took us to the beach. The shuttle ride was great and he was a also so nice and informative. Key feature for our stay here is that they have beach chairs, coolers and umbrellas available if you need them. Kerry took us to Tigertale Beach and told us where to go for shelling. When we were done we called the front desk and they sent David the next shuttle driver. He picked us up and was also so nice. Great feature for sure. The Villa, not room, was huge. 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, full kitchen, dining room and a huge balcony. We were mostly at the beach for 8 hours+ each day so the room was perfect for the 4 of us. The next day we met Susan the shuttle driver. She was fantastic. Such a great experience we will never forget. She was so friendly, knowledgeable, kind and a great person. She was very helpful everytime we saw her. We actually came back early before her shift eneded to say goodbye. She and everyone there including Daniel were such a huge help to make our experience in Marco Island unforgettable. I can't say enough great things about everyone we met. It was such a good time and everything was perfect. We will be back and will ALWAYS stay here. Hotel and staff is an A+

Pros: Rooms are generously sized and well equipped. Everything was very clean and well stocked. The staff were warm and welcoming. Brooke at the front desk was especially helpful with many great recommendations. The hotel is conveniently located close to several good dining locations and shopping options, yet the area still seems quiet. Cons: Beds are very firm/hard as are the pillows. We found the bed linens extremely course as well. The bar has been converted to an ice and vending location, which was disappointing as it takes away from the resort vibe. The outside pool sprayer was dislodged from its anchoring and leaning extremely haphazardly at about a 45 degree angle, was not blocked off, and was still in use despite being a serious hazard.
