Room was clean and quite, relatively modern. We stayed one night prior to setting off on a canoe camping trip in Everglades National Park. I was travelling with four children and they made sure that the room had enough bed space for everyone. This part to the hotel, the "Suites," the south wing, appears to be the newest part. We also stayed in the older north wing for one night, the Ivy House Everglades Adventures Hotel. Those rooms are arranged around a very nice outdoor pool.

Very comfortable beds, spacious and clean room. Conveniently located! We has a wonderful stay.

Very clean, modern spacious rooms. Bathroom was spotless, big fridge and freezer and a very comfortable bed. Good location behind the gas station so that is a very short walk if you need something. Camellia Grill is a 2 minute walk as well.

Room was like new with small kitchen and and cleaned well. I would definitely stay there again.

Stayed here with our family in July 2024 for one night, as we booked an early-morning kayak tour. The arrival late was not a problem, was handled with a key box at the main house. The rooms are good, spacious, but not very personal. Kitchen included, but not many amenities. What we disliked: when we returned from the kayak tour (which is the same company who owns the hotel), we were not allowed to use the pool - which would have been quite nice after paddling for two hours in the sun. No real reason given, just "our policies do not allow for it". Overall, there is surprisingly little to see or do in Everglades City, despite its beautiful location. Most of the coffee shops were closed (off-season, I guess), but there is a wide variety for snacks, breakfast, coffe at the gas station just on the road.

Rooms are spacious, clean, and bright! Everything you need for a solid landing spot to explore the western Everglades and Big Cypress. I greatly appreciated the stellar customer service, as the front desk kindly worked with us as we navigated flight issues.

I had an excellent stay at this hotel! The room was absolutely beautiful—spacious, well-designed, and impeccably clean. The beds were incredibly comfortable, making for a great night’s sleep. One thing I really appreciated was how quiet it was; I didn’t hear any noise from other rooms, which made the stay even more relaxing. The staff were outstanding—friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. Their great service truly enhanced my experience. The only thing that could make the stay even better would be the addition of a continental breakfast. It would be a great touch to an already fantastic experience. Overall, I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, quality, and top-notch hospitality!

Everything about this hotel was great.The room was clean and large. Everything looked new. The walk-in shower was big. Only wish the water temp had been a little hotter. We had a king bed. It was comfortable and the linens were soft. The room had a full size fridge, a dishwasher, dishes, glasses, silverware. We only stayed one night, but hope to be back for an extended stay.

We were a group of three and booked two rooms during the low season at this hotel. Upon arrival, the staff welcomed us in a very friendly way, even after 8 p.m., which was appreciated. Unfortunately, this is where the positives end. The first room we were given had a serious problem— part of the couch was covered in mold. The staff apologized and promptly provided us with another room. However, when we entered the second room, we immediately saw a cockroach on the bathroom floor. Again, the staff apologized, blaming it on the humidity caused by the recent hurricane, but the experience left us feeling very uncomfortable. Finally, in the third room, things weren’t much better. The faucet was wobbly, and a tile was missing from the bathroom wall. The toilet seat was also very loose. On the positive side, the shower worked well, and the room had decent amenities, like a fridge and a dishwasher. While the price was quite reasonable at around $100 a night, this was the worst hotel experience we had during our 10-day trip through Florida.
