Located in the vibrant Park Shore neighborhood, Residence Inn by Marriott Naples offers comfortable extended-stay accommodations with comprehensive amenities for business and leisure travelers.
The Residence Inn by Marriott Naples receives generally positive feedback, primarily driven by its location and friendly staff. However, recurring concerns regarding cleanliness, maintenance issues (such as musty rooms, malfunctioning appliances, and pest problems), and inconsistent quality arise frequently, particularly within rooms undergoing renovation. While the hotel offers convenient amenities like a pool and breakfast, some guests report shortcomings in these areas.
We left the snow and explored the gulf coast early March. Nice location, great breakfast included at your leisure, could eat inside or outside pool patio area. Also great exercise room and sitting area with computer access if needed. The staff was people friendly and provided us with beach chairs and beach umbrella for the week. They cared about the guest and aimed to accommodate us all. We drove 3 miles to tin city where we took 2 different boat tours. Lots of good food and shops that are more affordable. The nearby 5 th ave is fun to see how the locals and tourists enjoy the lifestyle of the wealthy. So many beaches too. Not all public access. But the beach one block from the pier, and Delors Wiggins state park offered easy access. $6 parking. Also Bonita springs barefoot beach a must. Ate at docs and watched the sunset. Drove to Sanibel island, Estero beach a fort myers area. Lots to explore. Also spent a day at Marco island. 2 mile walk to the beach. Must be able to walk there. Fun coastal experience! All beaches 2-10 parking. Did not make it to Vanderbilt, very busy no parking. Get to beaches before 10 for parking.
Pros: Excellent service and location. Elana was helping a guest get his wheelchair out of his car when I pulled in, I’m astounded how they go above and beyond even in this cold weather! She was very accommodating upgrading my room and gave helpful info of the area when checking in. Lots of restaurant and shopping options in the area. Note worthy: I requested extra towels and they came within 5 minutes Cons: Breakfast was mid tier with not much gluten free options. I had no tissues in my room or ice tray.
The staff was very nice & accommodating. Lovely pool area. The #4 building, even though renovated... 1. Ran out of hot water 2. Musty room smell upon entry 3. Crusty (food) chopping knife in kitchen 4. Poor room lighting 5. Room phone didn't work & not fixed when requested. Good thing was only there 2 nights. Not our usual Marriott property experience.
I stayed at this Residence Inn in Naples and was genuinely blown away by the hospitality here. Yes, the hotel itself is a bit older, but the service more than makes up for it, and honestly gives it the charm of a boutique, high-end mom-and-pop hotel. The staff truly care. They know your name, they communicate with you, and they go out of their way to make you feel welcome. They even called me when a delivery arrived to let me know they were holding it safely, and when the hotel was sold out for the next night, the front desk still helped me work it out so I could extend my stay. You can tell this is a place where employees love what they do. I learned some of the housekeeping team has been here anywhere from 3 to 20 years, which says everything about the environment and the pride they take in their work. I travel for work and this year I have over 150 nights at Marriott properties alone. It’s rare to find service like this anymore, and it truly elevates the entire experience. Highly recommend.
The Naples Residence Inn - has a lovely outdoor heated pool and hot tub. There is plenty of deck seating, a few tables and a pickle ball court for outdoor fun. The hotel is currently being renovated.
Wonderful staff and location. Property is going through a large refurb (THANKFULLY!), but we were still able to use the pool/hot tub and stay without interruption. Breakfast was great! Housekeeping is every other day which isn't ideal...alot of back and fourth for towels and pillows etc. We stayed in room 138 which had a bad odor to it. We had housekeeping come in as soon as we checked in which helped but it returned later that night. Windows wouldn't open (even on 1st floor) so trying to air out the room wasn't an option. We ended up buying air freshener which made it livable for the 3 nights 4 days. I was a 3 star stay with great amenities. Just wait until the refurb is done then it will be fantastic I'm sure!
Room was very nice and clean. The breakfast was delicious some foods need work but there was enough to substitute. The pool is nice and the hot tub could be a little hotter but at least it had a hottub. The staff was very friendly. The room doesnt have any kind of silverware. It does have a full little kitchen but be sure to take your own silverware to eat.
A big thank you to Liz, Terra, and Lacy for their top-notch service! These phenomenal front desk ladies know us by name and go out of their way to provide steller personalized Marriott service. Our family has been staying at this Residence location for a couple of years now. The central location, size of the 2 bedrooms, well stocked breakfast, and fantastic pool area with a hot tub and grill are ideal when we visit with our children and grandchildren. This location is our first choice when visiting Naples. Thank you again for your wonderful customer service!
So I have been staying at this location for almost 3 months if not just over due to my job. I stayed in two rooms 114 and 119. A majority of my time was in 119. They claim that that “clean and sanitize each room.” But I brought my dog twice to this location once he stayed for two weeks when I was in 114 and for one week in 119. I just got back and look at the pictures but my dog’s hair is still all over the couch in 119 as that was the room I was given again. My first month was great, front desk was awesome, cleaning crew came twice a day. My second month I check in and they ask if I want to use a card on file which being here for business of course! Hell no! Some how they charged my debit card $2K which stuck for almost 2 weeks and I never shown them my card! How did they have access to that? No apologies were given just excuses about how it was my bank. The hotel website describes each room with a full size kitchen. I have stayed between 1.5 months, 1 month and 3 days I have never had a stove which other coworkers claim they have in their room. I’m sorry if you see I’m staying for a longer stay you would think I would be offered a “full kitchen”. My last two stays I had as put in the same room 119. When I came back I saw a shower soap dish with used soap in it and they can’t even measure shower curtains to make sure they fit! They offer a basic “daily breakfast” from 6:30-10 on week days which has a small variety of food. But being Marriott not having room service, smelling weed in the hall ways, carpet cleaner that chokes you the second you walk in. They charge you $6 dollars for a bottle of water when their sink water runs yellow/brown lol. What are you running? I will never stay with this hotel ever again. Marriott has now become the next Holiday inn. I’d rather sleep in my car.
The bed was a bit on the firm side for my liking but we had a great experience overall. We were staying due to a family emergency and the lady at the front counter was extremely helpful. She put us in the back of the hotel so we didn't have to listen to the road noise all night. The free breakfast was pretty good. Mostly the normal options- eggs, bacon, waffles, cereal, muffins... Etc. morning staff was quick with checkout. Overall it was budget friendly and a good place to catch some rest. I would definitely stay here again.
