Located in the vibrant Park Shore neighborhood, Residence Inn by Marriott Naples offers comfortable extended-stay accommodations with comprehensive amenities for business and leisure travelers.
The Residence Inn by Marriott Naples receives generally positive feedback, particularly highlighting its convenient location near the beach, shops, and restaurants, as well as friendly staff and included breakfast. However, recent reviews indicate persistent cleanliness issues, particularly regarding pools and common areas, alongside concerns about room odors and outdated facilities.
My husband and I travel for work full time and we have stayed at this hotel twice now for 2+ months each time. We chose to come back the second time because of how much we love this place. It’s the best location. Close to the beach, shops, and great restaurants. The staff is amazing here. From the front desk ladies, the house keepers (Dixie is the best), and the maintenance workers too. Overall a great place to stay. They’ve recently remodeled and it looks fantastic. We hope we can come back again!
2/5 Stayed here for one night this past weekend. Staff was bland at best - not friendly at all. The hotel is very average. You can tell it's an older hotel that has been used and is a little beat up. The shower is way too narrow for the average person to shower in. The furniture is dinged and old and the place just doesn't have anything special about it. I would probably not stay here again. Needs work guys.
Great room, nice a clean Staff pleasant, breakfast was good. You need a car to get around, but we couldn't find anywhere to park to get to the beach and it was too far to walk. Quiet pretty surrounding area
Here is the letter I wrote to the General Manager after my stay- Dear Jeffrey, I recently stayed at the Residence Inn in Naples, Florida with my two grandchildren for two nights on April 22 and 23. While the hotel itself was generally decent, I feel compelled to bring a very serious concern to your attention regarding the cleanliness and safety of the pool and lounging area. Throughout our entire stay, the pool deck and surrounding seating areas were covered extensively in bird feces. The droppings were present on lounge chairs, tables, umbrellas, and especially across the pool deck itself. I have attached photographs documenting the conditions we encountered. What was most concerning was that during our three-day stay, NOT ONCE did we observe any staff member making an effort to clean or sanitize the area. Even the cushions on your lounge chairs were absolutely filthy. Aside from being extremely unpleasant, this presents a significant health and sanitation issue for guests — particularly families with children. The condition of the pool area greatly impacted our stay. My grandchildren became so uncomfortable and disgusted by the environment that they no longer wanted to swim or spend time at the pool, which was one of the reasons we selected this property. Given the premium location of your hotel and the rates guests are paying, a much higher standard of cleanliness and maintenance should be expected. As a Lifetime Platinum Elite Marriott member, I was especially disappointed by this experience. I believe Marriott properties are expected to uphold a certain level of quality and guest care, and unfortunately this stay fell far below those expectations. I am providing this feedback along with the attached photographs in hopes that immediate corrective action will be taken to address the condition of the pool and lounging areas for future guests. I also want to be transparent that I will be posting reviews regarding this experience. Unless meaningful improvements are made, I would not consider staying at this property again, nor would I recommend it to others. I appreciate your attention to this matter and hope you will treat these concerns seriously. Sincerely,
We left the snow and explored the gulf coast early March. Nice location, great breakfast included at your leisure, could eat inside or outside pool patio area. Also great exercise room and sitting area with computer access if needed. The staff was people friendly and provided us with beach chairs and beach umbrella for the week. They cared about the guest and aimed to accommodate us all. We drove 3 miles to tin city where we took 2 different boat tours. Lots of good food and shops that are more affordable. The nearby 5 th ave is fun to see how the locals and tourists enjoy the lifestyle of the wealthy. So many beaches too. Not all public access. But the beach one block from the pier, and Delors Wiggins state park offered easy access. $6 parking. Also Bonita springs barefoot beach a must. Ate at docs and watched the sunset. Drove to Sanibel island, Estero beach a fort myers area. Lots to explore. Also spent a day at Marco island. 2 mile walk to the beach. Must be able to walk there. Fun coastal experience! All beaches 2-10 parking. Did not make it to Vanderbilt, very busy no parking. Get to beaches before 10 for parking.
Pros: Excellent service and location. Elana was helping a guest get his wheelchair out of his car when I pulled in, I’m astounded how they go above and beyond even in this cold weather! She was very accommodating upgrading my room and gave helpful info of the area when checking in. Lots of restaurant and shopping options in the area. Note worthy: I requested extra towels and they came within 5 minutes Cons: Breakfast was mid tier with not much gluten free options. I had no tissues in my room or ice tray.
The staff was very nice & accommodating. Lovely pool area. The #4 building, even though renovated... 1. Ran out of hot water 2. Musty room smell upon entry 3. Crusty (food) chopping knife in kitchen 4. Poor room lighting 5. Room phone didn't work & not fixed when requested. Good thing was only there 2 nights. Not our usual Marriott property experience.
I stayed at this Residence Inn in Naples and was genuinely blown away by the hospitality here. Yes, the hotel itself is a bit older, but the service more than makes up for it, and honestly gives it the charm of a boutique, high-end mom-and-pop hotel. The staff truly care. They know your name, they communicate with you, and they go out of their way to make you feel welcome. They even called me when a delivery arrived to let me know they were holding it safely, and when the hotel was sold out for the next night, the front desk still helped me work it out so I could extend my stay. You can tell this is a place where employees love what they do. I learned some of the housekeeping team has been here anywhere from 3 to 20 years, which says everything about the environment and the pride they take in their work. I travel for work and this year I have over 150 nights at Marriott properties alone. It’s rare to find service like this anymore, and it truly elevates the entire experience. Highly recommend.
The Naples Residence Inn - has a lovely outdoor heated pool and hot tub. There is plenty of deck seating, a few tables and a pickle ball court for outdoor fun. The hotel is currently being renovated.
Wonderful staff and location. Property is going through a large refurb (THANKFULLY!), but we were still able to use the pool/hot tub and stay without interruption. Breakfast was great! Housekeeping is every other day which isn't ideal...alot of back and fourth for towels and pillows etc. We stayed in room 138 which had a bad odor to it. We had housekeeping come in as soon as we checked in which helped but it returned later that night. Windows wouldn't open (even on 1st floor) so trying to air out the room wasn't an option. We ended up buying air freshener which made it livable for the 3 nights 4 days. I was a 3 star stay with great amenities. Just wait until the refurb is done then it will be fantastic I'm sure!
