The Fairways Inn of Naples offers a generally affordable option in North Naples, with some guests highlighting its beautiful grounds, outdoor spaces, and convenient location. However, recent reviews indicate ongoing cleanliness and service concerns, particularly regarding lost items and unresponsive staff.
The rooms were unfortunately not clean and felt uncomfortable and poorly maintained. Basic amenities such as shower gel and shampoo were available, but that is the bare minimum and does not compensate for the overall condition. What I find truly unacceptable, however, is the service. I accidentally left a personal item in the room that was both important to me and expensive. As we were already on a road trip, returning to the hotel was not an option. I contacted the hotel and was told that the item had indeed been found. I then asked—politely—whether they could send it to our next destination. I explicitly offered to cover all shipping and handling costs. From that point on, there was complete silence. No response at all, even after a follow-up inquiry. If the hotel was unwilling to help, I could at least understand an honest refusal. Simply ignoring a guest after confirming possession of their belongings is disrespectful and unprofessional. This level of service is unacceptable and not what one should expect from any hotel, regardless of category.
We stayed at a budget hotel in Florida, and overall it was a pleasant experience for the price. The location was good, and the property had a nice, well-kept outdoor area, which made the stay more enjoyable. The room was very simple, nothing fancy, but it was clean and matched the low price, so no complaints there. Breakfast was quite basic and not very impressive, but it did include all the essentials to start the day. All in all, a good option if you’re looking for an affordable place with a convenient location and don’t expect luxury.
We spent one night at the Fairways Inn of Naples in the twin room 362. Unfortunately, the room had a noticeable damp/musty odor, which made our stay difficult. We had previously requested a first-floor room due to a mobility issue (using crutches), but were told none were available, so we didn't bother asking for a room change again. On a positive note, the beds were very comfortable, and the room itself was spotlessly clean. However, the decor and especially the bathroom fixtures are quite dated. The shower was particularly difficult to operate: while the water turned on easily, engaging the showerhead was extremely difficult. It took my husband several minutes and a significant amount of force just to switch the flow from the tub spout to the shower. The hotel's location is excellent, the outdoor facilities are beautiful and very well maintained, and the woman at the reception was lovely. Overall, this is a great hotel, but the state of our specific room prevented us from fully enjoying our stay.
This is a great place to stay. We had a large block for a family wedding at The Strand. This location is close to everything (mall, beach, restaurants, Walmart exc.) The rooms had space, were clean..we had a kitchenette, but with our party..all type of rooms were used, they were clean, no one had any complaints. The breakfast is in an outside closed gazebo, with alot to choose from, the grilling area is great! We used this area and it was also very clean, the pool was heated, clean and we all enjoyed that. The front desk is amazing! The only issue was a guest had lost their room key at the wedding. Upon calling..as the front desk was closed..we had found out in the rush of the wedding, the key was left in the door, house keeping took it out and brought it to the front desk, the kind man running the hotel brought it to them at 10pm. Above and beyond treatment was given to all of us. It's a quaint place, and even with a large family , many rooms booked..not 1 complaint! The only thing I can suggest is ask for an additional key when arriving, only 1 is given, they will gladly give you another. Definitely get 5 ? from the families from Buffalo and we will be returning again!
Only good things to say about this place. The rooms were great, the kitchen had everything we needed, the mattress was super comfortable, and the continental breakfast had all the essentials. The hotel is clean and has a really nice atmosphere overall. Big shoutout to the blonde girl at the reception (Megan?!) — she was so lovely and happy to help with anything we needed. Totally recommend this hotel!
I chose this hotel on a whim for an impromptu birthday getaway and was pleasantly surprised by all it had to offer when we arrived. It’s a small property, but it has been designed for maximum enjoyment. Our room was spacious and comfortable and even had an outdoor table with an umbrella for your own outdoor patio experience. There are 3 different outdoor grilling areas on this property, equipped with beautiful quality gas grills and utensils and a plethora of additional outdoor seating and eating areas all over the grounds. There is a shuffleboard court and an enclosed garden pavilion where they host their free continental breakfast. Both are located in the center of the property and accessible by the extensive decks that connect the buildings to the outdoor spaces. It’s definitely a hidden gem in the North Naples area as well as a great value. They should honestly be rated at least a 3 star establishment though, based on our experience during our stay as well as with their staff. I couldn’t be happier with my choice to stay at the Fairways Inn of Naples and will definitely be back the next time we plan a visit to the area.
Got the deluxe room. It's very comfortable for 5, nice kitchen, and clean. Still need to ask the front desk for a sponge and salt packets. The breakfast I thought would be better, but just bagels, some fruits, etc. very simple. The grounds are nice, and bbq's are available to use. The pool looks bigger in the photos, but nice non the less. It was for one night and it was very affordable, would stay again, it's close to beaches and attractions.
Okay so this is another example of Google losing or deleting my reviews. Stayed here about a year ago had an excellent experience and left a great review. Not here anymore. Will be staying here again in November, hence why I was trying to look at my review to see if there was anything we thought of to do different next time. Giving it all five stars because we had nothing bad to say about the place there was probably a couple minor things but we will be here again and I will let you know and I'll try to figure out why my reviews are disappearing. Greeted us with a bottle of wine last time we were here and provided band aids for a tropical island mishap I had.
The room is lovely as are the grounds. Staff is very friendly and location is perfect for us since we have family around the corner. Unfortunately, smoking is permitted in the outside areas and we are lucky enough to have chain smokers next door to us. This has made it impossible for us to sit outside. Major disappointment for me. I would love to stay here again but I don’t think that will work due to the smoking policy. Everything else is lovely
Outdoor space and grounds offer a gorgeous setting for relaxation. Rooms are dated but clean and not a big deal for us as we just need a place to sleep. For me, it was a trip down memory lane (1960s).
