Located in the heart of Naples, Compass by Margaritaville Hotel offers an all-suite escape where casual luxury meets laid-back vibes.
The Compass by Margaritaville Hotel Naples consistently receives positive feedback for its festive atmosphere, comfortable rooms, and convenient location. Guests rave about the friendly staff, particularly the exceptional service provided by waitstaff like Ximena, and the enjoyable pool and bar areas. While some minor issues with cleanliness and pool floor surfaces have been noted, the overall experience is described as relaxing and memorable.
We had amazing experiences with this hotel! We booked Studio and it was absolutely perfect! Clean, cozy, spacious, equipped everything you need to live. AC system produced zero noise. The place is very quiet and sweet. Safety parking, varied breakfasts. Fair price. Highly recommend!
After some research we chose to stay at Compass for a quick weekend getaway. We're so happy we did. This hotel is 2 miles away from the closest beach and you feel like you're at a beach resort. Laid back, clean, and great service. Monica at the 5 o'clock somewhere bar was wonderful. She was friendly and provided us with great service. This hotel is a hidden gem. We will be back!
Wow! Great hotel! Kind of a Hampton Inn with a killer bar and pool area. Rooms were huge with a small kitchenette. Full size fridge, small cook top, sink and microwave. Could easily vacay here for a week. Attention to detail was impressive. Order a fridge filled with water or a bucket of Landshark beer awaiting your arrival right during the booking process. Tons of unique Margaritaville touches everywhere that just makes the whole place feel a step above. Did I mention the killer bar and pool area? Food menu, drinks, live music, palm trees, outdoor games, fire tables... I feel like I spent a lot more than I did. Like a resort at budget hotel prices.
This was my first experience at Compass Hotels by Margaritaville. The location is fabulous, right on Tamiami Trail and conveniently close to the Mercato. The hotel rate is very reasonable for Naples, and the front desk staff was courteous during check-in. That said, I did find it a bit odd that additional staff behind the desk made eye contact but did not offer a greeting. While the price is fair for the area, I was disappointed by the $50 incidental hold placed on my card, which will be returned provided no charges are made to the room. Since my credit card is already on file, I’m not sure why this additional hold is necessary. The room itself is spacious, featuring a sitting area, dining table, kitchenette, separate bathroom, and bedroom. However, the bedroom feels cramped with two beds, leaving approximately 15 inches between the edge of the bed and the doorway. Cleanliness was a challenge: the grout between the bathroom tiles appears blackened, there was hair in the shower, stains ground into the bedroom carpet, visible dust on top of the refrigerator and microwave, and a stain on one of the couch cushions. Breakfast was included and was substantial and very tasty. Overall, the hotel caters less to business travelers and more to vacationers. I would return with my family if on vacation, but will probably not come back on business.
Monica, our bartender, was amazing. So friendly and welcoming for our first time visiting this location. Chris was also kind and helpful. Made our visit great. The vocalist by the pool was fantastic! Loved her voice! Taylor sang Fleetwood Mac, Ella Langley, and Lainey Wilson perfectly, even sang the ABCs as a request from a child a the pool. Such a rich and soulful voice for a young girl. Really soothing. We enjoyed every minute. Can’t wait to return. Definitely a recommendation for locals and visitors.
We stayed for four nights at this hotel. Parking is limited but usually we were able to find a spot in the hotel lot. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, though the cleaning could be improved, as we noticed some debris on the floor—such as 1 cm pieces of glitter—that remained in the hallways throughout our stay. Breakfast was simple, with limited options and largely the same every day. We were never greeted by the reception staff when entering or leaving the hotel. Overall, it’s a decent hotel. It was convenient to have water, sparkling water, tea, coffee, and an ice machine available at all times in designated areas. One point of improvement is the swimming pool floor, it's made with sharp edged small stones which cut my toe causing me to bleed, normally the swimming pool floor is smooth so this wasn't a nice experience. The swimming pool area on the other hand was very nice, a lot of fun games and fires to warm yourself made it a pleasant place to hang out.
We recently hosted our engagement party at the Compass Hotel by Margaritaville in Naples and it was a great experience from start to finish! A huge shoutout to Emily and Kaylee, who went above and beyond to help coordinate our event. They were so attentive, organized, and genuinely invested in making everything special for us. During the event itself, Cassie and Audrey were amazing with service, friendly, efficient, and so helpful with every little detail. Their positive energy really added to the celebration. Our stay at the hotel was just as great. The room was clean and comfortable, and the fresh poolside breakfast the next morning was surprisingly a great touch. Highly recommend Compass Naples for not only a relaxing stay but also for hosting special events! We’re so grateful to the team for helping make our celebration memorable!
Nice Place. Great rooms. Beautiful pool. Makes you feel like you are 5' o clock somewhere!!! The patio and pool are so relaxing. Thank you Christy for taking the time to put on the fire pit when I was freezing. Most other employees would not have done that. Thank you :)
We stayed here as a family of four with small kids and had a wonderful experience. The staff were really friendly, and our room offered plenty of space for all of us. The pool and chill-out area were outstanding, with great live music in the evenings. We also enjoyed dining at the on-site restaurant — the food was excellent and very family-friendly. Highly recommended for families looking for a relaxed and welcoming stay in Naples!
My wife and I stayed for three days, including a weekend in May, and it was an unforgettable experience. The hotel is the perfect place to enjoy quality time together. Its prime location in Naples offers easy access to explore the city, making our stay even more enjoyable. What truly sets this hotel apart is its impeccable cleanliness, organization, and outstanding service. The free parking was a great convenience, and the pool staff provided exceptional hospitality—always friendly and attentive. A special thank you to Ximena, whose warmth and kindness made our stay even more special. The breakfast buffet was fantastic, offering a wide variety of delicious options to start the day right. Every aspect of our stay at the MargaritaVille Hotel was nothing short of wonderful. We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning soon.
