Recent reviews of the Best Western Naples Inn & Suites reveal a mixed experience, with some guests praising the convenient location and friendly staff, while others highlight significant cleanliness issues, pest infestations, and maintenance concerns. The hotel's aging infrastructure and inconsistent service are apparent based on the considerable variation in guest feedback.
The night shift front desk person was not friendly at all I booked a room with 2 beds and he said that they only have a king even tho I booked it for 2 beds. Also when we got to the room we walked in saw 5 bugs crawling around and left 10 seconds later. Told the front desk I wanted a refund and he had a problem doing that to
This place is infested with cockroaches. I had to switch my room twice as a result. The sink didn’t drain properly in my first room either. And the floors are very dirty. Lots of bugs in the first room as well. Dead bugs and alive bugs. The rooms both smelled like bug spray and I had to sleep with the door open which made it very hot inside the room. This was not a comfortable stay at all. I was here for 6 days and all 6 days were uncomfortable. It’s a nice location since it’s close to the beach but I wouldn’t stay here again. Staying on the 2nd floor is only accessible by stairs as the elevator didn’t work when I was there. I had to check in and out of 3 rooms in total which made this stay very uncomfortable and I hope best western does a better job at maintaining this place
Beautiful tiki bar and outdoor pool area! Convenient location, right near 9th avenue & downtown. All the staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms were tidy. The only downside was the quality of the breakfast :(
We recently stayed at Best Western Naples Inn & Suites for our first trip to Naples, and overall it was a good fit for our family. We booked a two-room apartment-style unit, which worked well and definitely served its purpose for space and functionality. The room was clean, which is always a top priority for me, but it is a bit dated. The sofa had some peeling, and there were a few stains in the carpet—nothing that ruined our stay, but worth noting if you’re expecting something more updated. The grounds were one of our favorite parts—very clean, well-kept, and inviting. We really enjoyed the pools and spas, which were a hit for everyone. The outdoor breakfast area was also a pleasant surprise. It had a great setup, and the variety (eggs, sausage, and more) made it easy to please everyone in our group. The staff was consistently friendly and helpful throughout our stay, which always makes a difference. One unique touch we loved was the DVD players in the rooms—you can borrow movies from their selection, which made for a fun, cozy night watching some old favorites. The beach shuttle was a nice perk, running at 9, 12, and 3. I do wish that had been mentioned at check-in, as we didn’t find out until the next day—but once we knew, it was easy to plan around. Location-wise, it’s very convenient—about a mile from the beach and just a block from Publix, which made quick walks for groceries super easy. Overall, a solid stay for families looking for a clean, comfortable place in a great location, even if it’s not the most updated option.
A very nice, not-too-costly for the location, hotel. Close to everything. Local beach nearby. Pool. Free breakfast. Clean, quiet rooms. Multiple options available. Nice service people!
My experience on February 11 was extremely concerning and highlights a serious deficiency in the hotel’s internal protocols. Upon arrival, the staff was courteous and even assisted me with my luggage, which I appreciated. However, at 5:17 PM, two men accessed my room after it had been erroneously assigned to them, constituting a direct violation of my safety, privacy, and integrity as a guest. While operational errors can occur, the severity of this incident and the manner in which it was handled by the receptionist—who in an irritated tone said, “just give me your name and surname, I just started my shift and don’t know anything”, without offering an apology or activating containment protocols—made the situation completely unacceptable. Her behavior demonstrated negligence in crisis management, customer service, and adherence to basic security procedures. An establishment providing lodging services has the inalienable duty to ensure safe conditions and respectful treatment of guests. In this case, not only was there a severe operational failure, but the subsequent handling of the incident also demonstrated professional negligence. Safety and respect for guests are fundamental obligations of the hotel’s service. Failure to uphold these responsibilities constitutes a serious breach that cannot be overlooked.
Rooms ok, beds comfortable, maid service good. Bath tub lacked plug. Mirrored closet off tracks, tracks rusted. Door sweep under door looked chewed up could see outside. Large enough to let 4 -6 legged creatures in. We had a lizard in our room the day we left. Front desk people, while not rude , were indifferent to our concerns. They don't accept cash for anything!! Wouldn't take cash even for buying snacks and sodas. Washers and dryers were cc only and using an app. We decided not to use that. Your laminated paper highlighting the hotels "amenities" said the washers and dryers took quarters. You need to update your information. Steps to breakfast area need to be marked with caution tape. And painted. Hard to see. Would it kill you all to make some basic repairs?
They do not have heated pools!!! Both hot tubs were not working. We did not have a microwave in our room. Even though we booked a room with one. Staff was nice. But we paid for alot of amenities that they didn't have. Ice machine was also out of order. In 6 days we never saw anyone working to get anything fixed. Signs at pool said no music! And no noise!! This place is not meant to have fun!! Find another hotel and enjoy your vacation!!!
I stayed here for 5 days & was very disheartened for the experience. Starting on a Saturday I think, the pool became very crowded with approximately 30 people in & around it. The crazy part was, they all knew eachother. Also, it didn't look like they were guests of the hotel because many of them were around or in the pool for hours with their clothes on! They brought their own food & drinks & it was like an event someone planned & no-one at the hotel knew about it. Except when I went into the office to tell the people at the desk & say I didn't think they were guests of the hotel, the manager came from the back & said, "No, they're all staying here". Odd comment since I waited for hours for them to leave & when they did, they never went to any rooms, they all got into various cars in the parking lot. It was a hostile thing to experience at a hotel you're staying at- people in the pool in their clothes, playing catch with a football in the pool- 30 + people there & when you walk by & look, they turned their heads towards me & gave me dirty looks. I have stayed at this hotel for over a decade & it has changed- not all in good ways. The rooms have been done over & I thought that was an improvement. Please fix the pool situation. Its not a public pool.
We stayed one night at Best Western Naples Inn & Suites after booking last minute and overall really enjoyed the location, amenities, and how smooth checkout was. The kids loved the pool, and the breakfast and pool staff were genuinely kind and welcoming. After checkout, our family went straight from the hotel pool to the beach and spent most of the day swimming while waiting for our next place to be ready. Unfortunately, after checking into our next hotel, we realized my 11-year-old nephew had left his bag in the closet of our room. He was very clear about where it was left, and this was discovered the same day we checked out. Because the next hotel was close by, my mom drove back that evening (December 26, 2025) to ask the front desk if the bag had been found. The overnight/front desk agent was dismissive and unkind, did not check lost and found, ask for details, or offer to follow up in any way. My mom explained she’d come back in the morning, upset because my nephew had no clothes besides his swimsuit and a shirt on the first full day of our trip. The next morning (December 27, 2025), my mom returned as promised. The same employee was on duty. While speaking in Spanish with another employee, she made eye contact with my mom and flipped her off before continuing her conversation. After making my mom wait, she then reached behind the counter and handed over my nephew’s bag. This was our first stay here, and we truly enjoyed everything about the property itself. We visit Naples often and had planned to stay here again. However, the after-stay experience was concerning. My mom is 65 years old, and the way she was treated while simply trying to recover a child’s belongings was inappropriate and disappointing. Long shifts are understandable — disrespectful behavior toward guests is not.
