WoodSpring Suites Naples receives mixed reviews, with some guests praising the location and friendly staff, while others report significant cleanliness issues, including cockroaches, mold, and unpleasant odors. There are concerns regarding security, with instances of guests being locked out of their rooms and issues with the back door access. Value is also a point of contention, with some feeling the price doesn't justify the quality.
The day after my friend and I checked in (both female), we woke up from a nap to it sounding like someone was trying to come into our room. A few minutes later our door opened and luckily had the door stop on. I heard a ladies voice say “is someone in here…hello?” so i said “hello?” and looked through the crack of the door and saw a woman so I opened it. It was the front desk lady and she said “Oh sorry he thought this was his room” and I said “Okay but how did the key work?” and she said “This is my master key”. It didn’t sit right with me, what if we didn’t have the door block on and was changing when they opened the door? What if we weren’t in the room and she just let him in with all of our belongings in there? When brought up to a different lady at the front desk she said it was a business room and they weren’t supposed to be checked out but they were checked out and that she was showing him it was occupied and that’s why he was confused. Doesn’t make sense to me because the lady who originally opened the door asked the man “are you sure this is your room” and he said yes. Even so, why is she having to “prove” to him it’s occupied. Why did she not knock before opening it? I am very confused and will definitely never stay here again considering how downplayed it was. It could have gone very wrong considering we are two young girls and a man was almost let into our room.
THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY!!! After checking in we were told that they could not issue a key to our room and that we would have to stop at the front desk and be let into our room each time. I had just travelled 3 hours to Naples for Valentine’s Day and no other hotels in the area were available so we had to spend one night there. Each time we left and came back there was never anyone at the desk and we had to ask the maintenance staff to let us into the room. Horrific smell of weed throughout the hallways and garage outside peoples rooms. We left after the first night and had to ask Hotels.com to try and get a refund and I will contest the charges with AMEX. Stay far far away from this place.
I stayed here for a week for work, and this place was nothing like the photos online. It looked dirty the moment I walked into the lobby, and it smelled like the floors hadn’t been properly cleaned in a long time. I was so uncomfortable that I asked the front desk if the area was even safe. I asked to see the room before checking in and was shown three. I picked the “best” one, but that’s not saying much. After a long workday, I was too tired to go searching for another hotel, or I would have left immediately. The room had multiple issues: Loose toilet seat No real hot water (only lukewarm) A/C barely worked Worn out, overly soft mattress Blanket with holes Paper thin pillows Tiny towels Rust stains on shower curtain The building cleanliness was just as bad. The elevator was filthy, and the same stains stayed on the elevator and hallway floors the entire week, which tells me they’re not cleaning regularly. I would never stay here again. The price might be cheaper, but it’s not worth feeling uncomfortable, questioning cleanliness, and worrying about safety. Spend your money elsewhere. The only plus was the location.
Overall, it was pretty good, friendly staff, clean rooms, price was decent...a little far from somethings other locations not too bad. Next to the Great Wolf Lodge. Housekeeping did wake me up before checkout, which I didn't love and my neighbors were smokers I think. But that's Florida and how hotels work, but not a bad experience. Hot shower quiet for the most part.
I was in Naples for my son’s FBU Football Tournament. We chose to stay here because of the perfect location. From Day 1 Adii and Juan were accommodating and courteous! Thanks for Everything!
Rooms have a kitchenette but no utensils, plates. I when to goodwill to get a set. Later I asked why they don't supply them . Some people are living there permanently, but if you need some the office has them for you to use. Apparently you have to ask for everything,no listing of what available either: Hair dryers, iron & board, extra hangers, coffee makers, potand pans,no extra towels, bring used down they exchange. House keeping comes 13 days in only. Didn't see an ice machine suppose you have to get ice trays too for the freezer.
I Recently had the pleasure of staying at this Woodspring location with my children. I always felt safe, with no issues at all. Everyone from; front desk, maintenance and housekeeping were always friendly and helpful which truly made all the difference during our pleasant stay.
At a point where I was extremely low in my life, waiting in limbo for some property to sell so I could buy my home, this Woodspring Suites location was there for me. The prices are fair, the rooms are clean and immaculate (unless the people inside the rooms are messy). If you keep track of yourself, your belongings and any pets you might bring with you, you will have a clean living space and an enjoyable stay. Speaking of cleaning, the staff were always punctual when servicing rooms, which was once every two weeks. Anytime anything broke down, such as the elevator or vending machines, it was fixed within a day. Multiple times, I locked myself out of my room because I am a genius. There was never a word of complaint from the front desk attendant and they always made a new card key for me on the spot. I would always see one of the staff members cleaning or working on something. Never once did I see anybody just slacking off. This location has a very professional and hardworking team. Honestly, this review is a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Woodspring Suites Naples, because they made a very difficult part of my life more manageable by giving me a place to lay my head at night so that I had one less thing to worry about.
I can’t say enough good things about my experience at WoodSpring Suites Naples! After my car broke down on I-75, I was in a stressful situation and needed a place to stay quickly. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate me and make sure I was comfortable. They were incredibly kind, patient, and welcoming during a time I really needed it. The facility itself is spotless and well-maintained, with a fresh, clean feel throughout. I truly appreciated their professionalism and warmth — it turned a tough situation into a much better experience. Highly recommend to anyone visiting or passing through Naples!
To whom it may concern: This review is honest and factual. My husband and mother in law reserved two nights at this property (3-19-25 through 3-21-25). The room was infested with cockroaches and an odor that was undescribable. This is unsanitary and unacceptable. They were promised an early check-in time of 11 AM, when they arrived the room ( on the 5th floor ) was not ready so my husband and mother-in-law went to grab lunch came back an hour later and the room was still not ready. The front desk clerk took them to another room that was located on the first floor as my mother-in-law is disabled and in that room were dead cockroaches, live cockroaches, uncomfortable beds, loud noises from the hallway that carried throughout the night and a smell that was horrendous. The phone did not work, no breakfast, no coffee, and nothing warm and cozy to make their stay feel welcoming. I have read other reviews from months prior with the same complaints about bugs and an odor to only see a generated response from the “owner” that they take these matters very serious and have pest control contracted. My question is, if this establishment takes it very serious then why are there cockroaches three months later in this hotel (as previous reviewers have stated)? This is unequivocally hands-down, a health code violation and disgusting. This was supposed to be a mini vacay for them to spend time together and relax, not spend hours trying to check in and hours going back and forth to the front desk with valid complaints because the phone was not working. We are requesting a full refund on behalf of the unacceptable service we received from the moment checked in until the time checked out. Now, who do I call directly for that refund?
