I am currently staying at AC Hotel by Marriott Naples 5th Avenue in Naples, Florida from March 6–8 while celebrating my birthday, and unfortunately our first night was not the experience we expected from a Marriott property. When we removed the bed cover at night, we discovered a disposable dog waste bag inside the bed. The bag was clean, but it clearly should never be inside the bedding of a freshly prepared hotel room. Additionally, the bedsheets had visible hair on them, which made it appear that the bed had not been properly changed between guests. I immediately contacted the front desk, and housekeeping came to change the sheets. When the staff member arrived, I showed them both the bag and the hair on the sheets so they could see the issue directly. The sheets were replaced, and the difference was very noticeable, confirming the bed had not been properly prepared beforehand. While I appreciate that the sheets were replaced promptly, what has been disappointing is that no one from the hotel has offered even a simple apology or acknowledgment of the issue. Cleanliness and attention to detail are basic expectations when staying at a Marriott hotel. I hope hotel management reviews this situation and reaches out, as this level of housekeeping oversight and room cleanliness issue is not consistent with the standards I expect from a Marriott-branded property. Update: Updating to 4 starts from 2. After reporting the situation, the front desk apologized and removed one of the two nights from our bill, which I appreciated. Aside from the sheet incident, the rest of our stay was excellent. The hotel itself is beautiful and very well located near 5th Avenue. I also want to highlight the rooftop restaurant, Limon, the service there was outstanding. We had breakfast there twice during our stay and couldn’t have been more satisfied. Overall, the remainder of the stay was great. Would I stay again? Yes. Had it not been for the sheet incident, this would have been a perfect stay.

Our stay at this AC Hotel was nothing short of perfect. The hotel itself is gorgeous, spotless and the location is prime. The front desk and the cleaning staff were amazing. We enjoyed using the gym and pool amenities daily during our 1-week stay. And we loved that they had golf cart service down to the beach. We visit Naples yearly and are making this our new spot!

Lovely hotel conveniently located near 5th Ave in Naples! Our king room with a sofa was not large, but was very clean and nicely appointed! The rooftop bar and pool area is really quite nice and a great place to grab a drink or relax in the sun! The staff has been incredibly welcoming and thoughtful. We live local and will definitely stay here again for a quick get away within walking distance of downtown!

We had such a wonderful stay at the AC Hotel on 5th ave. First of all, the hotel itself is absolutely GORGEOUS! Inside and out. We were attending an event just down the street on 5th ave so the location was incredibly convenient for us and the area was super safe to walk at night. We walked at 9:00pm and then back to the hotel around 2:00am. The avenue was well lit, as was the exterior of the hotel. We got a double Queen room with a balcony that was a wonderful surprise. The rooms were beautiful, the bathroom and shower were spacious and clean, and the beds were comfortable. Unfortunately, the balcony's are non-smoking which I felt kind of defeated the purpose, but not a big deal. The other minor thing was the light out on the balcony was very bright and there was no switch to turn it off. Again, though, no big deal at all. We still enjoyed some time relaxing on the balcony before our event. Overall, we LOVED our stay at the AC Hotel on 5th ave and will definitely be returning!

Great front desk staff. Tons of parking. Room was quite spacious and clean. Loved the balcony wish we had a better view. The rooftop pool area was lovely. The restaurant was OK. The wait staff was friendly and accommodating however the wait time was not. The quality of the towels was excellent. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a great time at the AC Hotel Naples 5th Ave. The location is perfect, as it is on 5th Ave, with is the unofficial “main street” of Naples. You can walk everywhere or use the complimentary shuttle to get around. The beautiful Naples beach is just a few minutes away as well. Less than 2 years old, you can see how modern and elegant this property is as soon as you walk in! The rooms were spacious and clean. The fitness center is huge and had everything I needed to work out. But my favorite part was the rooftop pool! You can see a lot of the city while enjoying food and drinks poolside. Located next to the pool is Limon Rooftop Bar, which is open late and has some great food and drink options. Service was also wonderful throughout our stay! Beautiful hotel but disappointing stay. The customer service vibe was off from the beginning. My son joked, it's the AC Hotel with no AC. I'm a Platinum Elite member and haven't experienced this lack of care at all Marriott hotel previously. Juan, at the front desk, and management staff at the rooftop restaurant acted bothered to interact with us. Almost as if they wish they had no customers during the off-season (Carlos was excellent). We did find the hotel to be clean and restaurant food was pretty good. The most frustrating part was the AC. 68 degrees was absolute minimum, confirmed by Juan at the front desk, that was permitted. On a 94 degree day, cooler would be nice. Also, the AC and continuous fan would turn off whenever you left the room. We'd return and the room temp would be back up to 71 and the same thing happened multiple times during the night. Juan's lack of care pushed me to check the reviews and I was surprised to see so many recent poor reviews. Each one has a response from Jacob, the GM, but he obviously hasn't made it priority to improve the experience for his guests. I won't be back to this hotel. The Towneplace Suites, right down the road, is great though!

The AC is a beautiful and spotlessly clean hotel. The public spaces and rooms have a minimalist and modern design, which is in line with the brand’s European theming. The fitness center was one of the best I’ve seen at a Marriott property. The rooftop pool, while small, is a nice sanctuary. The location is convenient, with the downtown area being just a few blocks away. While totally walkable, they do offer a beach shuttle as well. In line with other reviews, there were few perks offered for being titanium elite. But that seems to be more the norm these days with the Marriott brand in general. Would stay here again.

Disappointing Stay at an Otherwise Beautiful Property The AC Hotel in Naples has a lot going for it: the location is fantastic—walking distance to great restaurants and bars. The rooftop bar and pool are beautiful and definitely a highlight. The hotel itself is new and stylish. The gym is big and well equipped. However, our stay was unfortunately overshadowed by a serious cleanliness issue and very poor customer service. Our room was filthy. The floors were covered in dirt and hair—there was even pubic hair in the shower, which was beyond gross. We reported the issue and asked to speak with a manager. We were told they would get one for us, but after waiting 15 minutes, we were informed the manager was too busy to speak with us. We changed rooms and ended up staying an additional three nights, and not once did a manager follow up with us, despite our concerns and request for a conversation. This level of service is unacceptable, especially from a Marriott property. As Titanium Elite members, we’ve stayed at Marriott hotels all over and have consistently had great experiences—until now. The front desk staff seemed indifferent, and the complete lack of follow-through from management was extremely disappointing. With some leadership attention to cleanliness standards and guest experience, this hotel could easily live up to the Marriott name. But until then, I can’t recommend it.

Beautiful hotel and location. Front deck personal have zero training with customer service. Management not much better. Spent hours and multiple calls to fix my bill at checkout. They blamed the system they are using. Would love to have those 2 hours back. Please check your bill they will steal your money. The air conditioner was really load and cycled all night long. It made it difficult to rest. You add the road noise and I would recommend another hotel for the price. I am a titanium guest and service is horrible compared to other Marriott's. After reading reviews many have had the same issue.. at the end of the day not a great stay at all.
