Offers an unparalleled blend of luxury and tranquility in the heart of Naples, Florida. Set amidst the lush landscapes of the Tiburón Golf Club, this elegant resort provides world-class accommodations just minutes from pristine Gulf beaches and upscale shopping at Mercato and Waterside Shops. Whether visiting for a golf getaway or a relaxing escape, guests will experience impeccable service and sophisticated amenities.
The Ritz-Carlton Naples, Tiburón is currently undergoing significant renovations, leading to widespread closures including restaurants, balconies, and lobbies. While some guests appreciate the golf facilities and the shuttle service to the beach property, numerous reviews highlight significant disruptions, including construction noise, temporary dining options, and a lack of promised amenities like balconies. Service inconsistencies, particularly regarding concierge services and communication regarding golf course closures, were also frequently cited. Despite some positive staff interactions, the overall experience is marred by the ongoing construction and its impact on the resort’s standard of luxury.
If you have a trip coming up for the Ritz Carlton Tiburon, take my word for it and cancel your trip. The hotel is under FULL renovations. The entire lobby level is closed and under construction. All restaurants are closed. There is draping and barricades everywhere. They made “make shift” restaurants in the conference rooms. The coffee shop is literally in a hall way. There is a bar, marketed as a “speak easy” that they’ve set up in a conference room with up lightning. Very sad looking. You can’t use balconies because they’re replacing all the roof tiles. The hotel will email you and down play all of this. They will tell you restaurants are open but they don’t explain that they’re all in temporary locations. It feels like you’re at a conference and not a resort. Just be warned, it’s not worth it. The only thing useable is the pool area and the pool restaurant. But in general; the whole place is kind of a disaster. The staff are all stressed because of the complaints. Concierge did not provide anything for my husband’s birthday even though they were notified ahead of time and again when we checked in. This is not what we have come to expect from the Ritz. The reason we decided to still go (even with construction going on) is for the golf courses. My husband booked tee times at both courses for the weekend. They didn’t tell him until he arrived at the club house that one of the courses (GOLD) was closed. This was the tipping point for me. Had we known this, we would’ve booked elsewhere. The hotel knew nothing about this, even though they advertise the golf as one of their amenities. Rooms are cheap and you’ll likely get upgraded but I would expect the bare minimum. We knew what we were walking into and we still felt like we got ripped off. Renovations go until October. So save your money and wait until then.
We stayed here recently for a golf trip with another couple. We were there as the current renovation began. In spite of the inconvenience, the staff was very accommodating and courteous. They did everything to help offset the inconvenience of being there during the beginning of what we were told was an overdue renovation. We were there for the Golf, mainly. The courses are immaculately groomed. We loved playing both the Black and Gold courses. One of the best features of this hotel is that you are able to shuttle back-and-forth between Tiburón and the beach property. During the renovation, restaurants were limited, but there are fantastic choices at the beach location. We enjoyed a fabulous gourmet meal at “The Grille,” and drinks and appetizers at “Gumbo Limbo” as we watched the sunset over the golf. We definitely plan to return when we visit South Florida. We can’t wait to see and experience the renovation. The team there is very excited about the future. The property remains open during the renovation as it was important to management to keep their staff working. This speaks volumes of a company’s values. We will definitely stay at Tiburon or Naples Beach resort in the future. I would call these two properties “The Fantastic Two!”
My visit was ok. We knew coming in that they were doing construction so that wasn't a problem. However, before driving down 14 hours, my wife called the resort to confirm that we wouldn't have any issues prior to coming, and sure enough we had issues with check-in to the point where it almost compromised us staying, but the other employee at the desk stepped in and gave a suggestion to ensure we would not have to relocate our visit. Good job by her. For some reason some of the staff did not seem to understand protocols. It was as if they hired a batch of new staff and put them to work without training. Besides that the in-room dining staff was nice, the cleaning crew was nice and observant, great job by them. The golf crew was great as well. Overall, would I visit again, ehhh, it wouldn't be in my top three. Maybe it would work better for you.
Booked through Expedia for what was supposed to be a high-end Naples stay. Room rate $829/night for a balcony resort-view room. What we actually got: 1- A balcony that was closed the entire stay (roof tile replacement). The hotel disclosed “limited” access in advance. “Limited” turned out to mean none. 2- A window looking directly at construction barriers and equipment. Not a peek of the resort — that was the view. 3- A booking page that line-itemed to about $987 but a final charge of $1,929. Nearly double, with no explanation that holds up to a calculator. When I raised it, the hotel waived the $60/night resort fee and $40 parking — about $110 of goodwill on a charge that was off by nearly a thousand. Then they told me the rate is “secured via a third party,” i.e., not their problem, go talk to Expedia. Expedia, predictably, pointed back at the hotel. Classic. Politely passing you to someone else isn’t service at a Ritz-Carlton price point. You’re paying for the brand precisely so the small stuff is handled and when something this big goes sideways, “talk to Expedia” isn’t the answer. If you book here during renovations, do not pay a balcony/resort-view premium. And screenshot every line of your reservation before you arrive.
Was here for a week for spring break with an elementary school aged kid. Everything was great. Service was very attentive and nice, rooms were clean and spacious, breakfast was wonderful (enough choice for picky eaters). We went to the beach and restaurants at the ritz on the beach and were welcomed and taken care of. Beach service and vallet at the ritz on the beach were free. I really enjoyed this property and would come back. The only one comment is the golf course - while beautiful and well maintained - was a little stuck up although we still enjoyed playing it. Thanks for a very pleasant overall experience!
My only complaint is that the pool is packed in and on this particular weekend it was filled with children. When all you want to do is lay in the sun, relax, read and all you can hear is kids... not idyllic. Wrong weekend to come. This is a smaller property for Ritz but it is still lovely. As always the staff are impeccable, kind and accommodating. Angelica on the front desk is just incredibly genuine and pleasant. Valet is prompt and pool side food/drink is quick and delicious. Always a lovely stay, thank you Tiburon
My family and I stayed at the Tiburon for the first time and we came from up North. We were happy that the weather held up and was in the high 70's. From the time that we stepped into the lobby, I was smiling from ear to ear. Shout out to Kaylee who checked us in and was very helpful and sweet. Also to Maria at the front desk! We did use the shuttle service to the Ritz - Beachside which was super helpful. The breakfast buffet at the Tiburon was great. Floyd was so warm and friendly to us. Lots of options to choose from and my son could have eaten the whole brie platter. Scrambled eggs and oatmeal were a delite! We also went to Gumbo Limbo and Ria to eat. Both were good options. Used the beach service and even though the beach had construction going on, it didn't bother my family. The adult pool at the Ritz - Beachside was great and shout out to Winston who assisted us, so friendly and funny! Vivian at the Tiburon gift shop was also helpful and great speaking with her. All in all, the Ritz Tiburon is a great place to stay with exceptional service. Hope that we are able to stay again in the future
The hotel is gorgeous and catered to families! It is so nice to find a place that makes you feel like home and all the staff is so sweet from the moment you arrive, when you check in and especially when you go to the pool! Oscar is a gem and so is Alek they are attentive and so sweet! The only thing I would say is when we were leaving I was playing with our kids in the lobby as most do as they wait for they’re car and they’re was a lady who was ridiculously rude to our children. I understand that there are parameters in which kids can go and cannot and I am always conscientious of the fact! The lifeguards, the wait staff understood how hard it is to take care of kids especially when you have more than one but I will say I have never had someone so rude. The kids ran behind the desk and I ran behind to get them out bc i am aware they don’t belong there! Luz was super rude to my children and my friends kids! I am Hispanic and so bewildered that she a Hispanic woman would be telling guests who are checking in that this doesn’t happen! The guests said they had grandchildren and were used to it! I’m sorry but that just ruined it for me, I have enough of a hard time controlling my kids and you see me trying and you still attack us and speak ill of us in front of other guests! Wow what a way to make a mother feel small!
We loved our stay at ritz Carlton Tiburon!! It’s pretty much exactly what you would want and expect from a ritz Carlton. The property is beautiful and the service was world class from the moment we pulled up to the hotel. It’s not brand new but our room was really nice. The lazy river and water slides were really fun with the kids!! Ria restaurant was a great meal (steak)!
Was in town for a wedding in near by Fort Myers. Consequently it was also my fiance and i relationship anniversary month and date. I sent an email to guess services concerning that and they set-up a very nice anniversary treat in our room with chocolates, desserts, balloons and a really nice card!!! Needless to say my fiance loved it!!! So getting back to the property. This is a beautiful location!! As I drove up into the hotel property grounds going thru the complex It looks like a luxury country club. I was with my fiance for our stay at the property. We utilized a free night award i had from my Ritz-Carlton card for one night and we paid for the other 2 nights while adding one of our Ritz-Carlton card club level upgrades for both nights. And as usual clean rooms and great service. The club lounge was clean with good food and nice drinks. The service in the lounge was top notch!! We needed our dress clothes dry cleaned after the wedding and the gentleman in the lounge took our clothes for us to the cleaning services department which was free as part of the club level benefits. I used my 100.00 property credit from the Ritz-Carlton Card for money off towards a massage for my fiance in the spa. She loved it!!! All in all this was a very enjoyable stay!!
